I recently stayed at Pomeroy's on Kilmore and the place was outstanding. My boyfriend and I have been traveling for about 9 months now and this place was possibly the best value place we have stayed on our entire trip. Besides it being one of the cheapest accommodations available in Christchurch, it was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated as well as including breakfast and a free drink upon arrival. And to top it off the owner and staff were super nice and accommodating. Just how a good quality B&B should be. This place would have easily gone for $250 USD back home.

Pomeroys Boutique Accommodation on Kilmore was the perfect choice for us on two occasions.   The newly renovated suites are a luxurious solace in the busy city hub.  Pomeroys pub next door offered us great food and wine in a sophisticated neighborly environment; it really felt like you were at your local. We have relocated to South Africa and we could not have chosen a better location to spend those final days in the garden city.  All the best for a wonderful future ahead.

Booked in to stay at "Pomeroy’s on Kilmore". It’s a real Boutique Guest house, a villa that has had a fantastic tasteful make-over, great paintings (all NZ art), bedrooms have en suites and very well designed. I stayed in the ‘Avon Room’, front of the House, could sleep with windows open at night, the garden is a great place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine in the sun. The owner, Steve Pomeroy, is a fantastic host. Next door is Pomeroy’s Bar and Restaurant, a fine selection of beers and the meals at the restaurant were some of the best I have ever had. The bar is a small slice of UK. I was booked in for 3 nights and ended up staying a week! Free Internet … I'll be back.
